Hi, my name is Lou – if you are here it is probably because, like me, you love dogs. Welcome To The World of a Dog Walker!
I believe that in order to find the perfect dog walker you must feel 100% comfortable and confident with them. After all, your dog is a part of your family and you want only the best for them.
Listed below are some of the highlights of my CV that, I believe, make me stand out from the crowd.
Certificate in Dog Behaviour and Psychology
I have an understanding of breed differences, behaviour traits, training problems that owners may experience, stress and anxiety issues and pack mentality.
Certificate in Canine First Aid
I have the training to handle a medical emergency, should it arise.
You can feel safe knowing that I have passed all criteria to obtain a Disclosure and Barring service certificate.
I am fully insured by Petplan Sanctuary. This covers Public Liability insurance.
Experience in handling all types of dogs
I am familiar with a variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments. From nervous Jack Russel’s to excitable German Shepherds, all dogs are welcome.
A genuine love for animals
This is probably the most important factor to look for in a dog walker. You can feel assured that your dog will be given the love and attention they deserve.
I am 27 years old and I live with my fiancé, 2 cats and 2 rabbit in Wallsend, North Tyneside. As you can probably tell from that last sentence, I’m animal crazy! Ever since I was young I had an interest in animals. Growing up we had dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits and even a horse! My passion has followed me through to my adulthood and I am lucky enough to surround myself with it every day.
Meet My Family
Rosie is the youngest of the gang. She is a black and white short haired domestic cat we adopted from Bryson’s Animal Shelter when she was 12 weeks old. Her hobbies include snuggling with her mam and dad and chasing feather toys.
The older brother of the group. Jim is an all black short haired domestic cat who was also adopted from Bryson’s at the age of 15 weeks. His passions include wrestling with his sister and eating lots of food!
Meredith is a black miniature Lionhead rabbit. Unfortunately, her owner was no longer able to house her so we took her in. She enjoys broccoli and zooming around the garden.
Peach is the newest member of our family. She is a short haired Siberian hamster whose owner could no longer keep her. She loves socialising with humans and apples!
Jonny is my fiancé. He helps me with my website, social media and accounts. He is an experienced graphic designer who is also a jack-of-all trades. His hobbies include gaming, football and occasionally joining me for The Hound Hike!
